With last updates there's customisation, performance is top notch, we have good devices in a wide variety of prices. NOW I think it's an amazing moment to switch. I don't know if it's the therapy I'm going, I'm loving myself more and I care about my quality of life more, or whether it's the fact that now I can afford these things but Long term support, the "everything just works" etc. I never liked iOS because of the lack of customisation, the horrible file managing system with iTunes, etc.īut you know what's something I always missed with android throughout the years? Quality of life. I think I could say I'm an avid android user. I even had a second device just to test some Roms in development. Had cyanogen, original nexus 7, several Samsungs, a pixel phone, now Xiaomi. Have flashed my own custom rooms on my phones several times.
The only apple device I've ever used was the original iPod touch. I am now either going to buy a S10 (last android flagship with headphone jack) or switch to iphone because a S21 feels like a downgrade from my S9 tbh I would much prefer to use my over the ear studio grade headphones. Bluetooth headphones sound like shit and run out of batteries. Still cannot wrap my head around removing the headphone jack, it literally makes zero sense. I am like an old man complaining they don't put cassette players in cars anymore I guess lol. I was mainly staying on android because of headphone jacks and SD card slots, but since it looks like I am the only one in the planet who uses headphones and likes expandable memory, I guess I have no choice. Instead, samsung decided to remove the SD card slot, lower the resolution, lower the ram, make the phone out of plastic, and not even give me a charger or headphones in the box. I am still using a samsung s9 with a broken screen because I was waiting hoping an android phone company would bring back the headphone jack.
